Terms and Conditions

1. The Promoter of this Draw is St Thomas’ GAA Club. St Thomas’ GAA Club is located at Castleboy, Kilchreest, Loughrea, Co Galway, Republic of Ireland. This event is a fully licensed Draw under Section 28 of the Gaming and Lotteries Act 1956 (as substituted by Section 12 of the Gaming and Lotteries (Amendment) Act 2019).

2. The terms and conditions herein set out are at all times governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland.

3. By purchasing a Draw ticket, the holder of the draw ticket is indicating his/ her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions. No statement, representation or otherwise given orally or otherwise by an agent or servant of the promoter shall override these Terms and Conditions.

4. The licence for the club’s fundraisers was granted in Gort District Court.

5. The purpose of the draw is to raise funds to support the development of the facilities at our grounds in Castleboy, Kilchreest, Loughrea, Co Galway.

6. The organisers of the Draw shall not derive any personal profit from the Draw.

7. The Draw is open to all natural persons aged 18 years or older. Any tickets purchased by persons under the age of 18 years shall be declared null and void and shall not be included or deemed to be included in the Draw. Any persons named on a ticket under the age of 18 years shall be declared null and void and shall not be included or deemed to be included in the Draw.
Tickets purchased by an Adult in Trust as a gift for someone under 18 years, can be purchased on the basis, that the said adult shall be deemed to be the Winner.

8. The cost of the Draw ticket is as follows:
– €10 for one ticket
–  €20 for three tickets
–  €50 for seven tickets

9. There is no limit to the number of Draw tickets that an individual may purchase.

10. Once purchased, the Draw ticket is non-refundable except in circumstances where the Draw is cancelled by the Promoter. In that event, 100% of the contribution will be refunded to the Draw ticket holder.

11. Neither the Promoter nor any of its servants, agents, licensees, trustees, committee members or the organisers of the Draw; howsoever appointed shall be liable for any failure in the performance of its obligations due to factors beyond its and/or their control. Nor shall they be liable to the Draw ticket holders for any loss, inconvenience, damage or expense suffered by the Draw ticket holder participating in this Draw.

12. The First prize in the Draw is a Trip for Two to Nashville, 4 nights, Flights & 4 star hotel -or- a cash amount of €3,000. The Second prize in the Draw is Two nights B&B, & One Dinner at The Europe Hotel, Killarney. The Third prize in the Draw is Two Stand Tickets for the 2026 All-Ireland Hurling Final and a one night hotel stay.

13. The prizes are non-transferable and vests in the winner only.

14. The Promoter reserves the right to add additional prizes to the Draw. The addition of such prizes will be notified to the Draw ticket holders as soon as practicable through St Thomas’ GAA Club social media channels and website.

15. The Draw will be held the end of December 2025. The date and venue will be published on the club’s social media pages.

16. The Promoter reserves the right to alter prizes in the Draw for any reason whatsoever and will notify the Draw ticket holders as soon as practicable in respect thereof by publishing a notice through its social media and websites.

17. The winner will be announced within 28 days of the Draw by email and/or Facebook and/or Twitter and /or Instagram and/ or SMS.

18. The winner may be subject to verification by the Promoter and this process may take up to 7 days to complete once the winner has claimed their prize.

19. If the winner cannot be contacted via one of the above means of communication or does not claim their prize within 14 days of the notification of same the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and select a replacement winner.

20. The Draw will be implemented and conducted by the Promoter. The preparation of entries for the final Draw will be independently observed. The Promoter will maintain books and records recording all entries into the Draw and all costs relating to the Draw.

21. The Promoter’s decision in respect of the winners and all or any other matters concerned with this Draw is Final.

22. For the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR):

    • The Promoter will retain and use the Draw ticket holder’s personal data for the duration of the Draw and a reasonable period thereafter.
    • On purchasing a Draw ticket, the holder agrees to the use of his or her details being used solely in connection with this Draw. Personal data of any kind will not be disclosed to a third party without the Draw ticket holder’s consent.
    • The winners hereby agree and consent to the use of their personal data and /or image being released in publicity material in conjunction with the Draw.

23. The Promoter, its servants, agents, licensees, trustees, committee members or the organiser of the Draw accepts no responsibility whatsoever, whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission, interception or communication failure, for unreceived, late, missing, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, corrupted or misdirected claims, entries, applications or otherwise
